Using Morningline
Do I need to log in or learn new software?
No. Your report arrives by email every weekday morning as an easy-to-use PDF. Open it and begin with the first opportunity in the call order. No login or software is required.
Can we talk before I subscribe?
Yes. Getting started begins with a conversation. We’ll answer your questions, confirm your service category and territory, and discuss the opportunities that matter to your business before you subscribe. We’ll explain what to expect and help you get started. You can handle that conversation by email.
How do I get help or request a change?
Just reply to your Morningline report and describe the issue in your own words. Whether a report is missing, a detail looks wrong, or you want to adjust your preferences, we’ll investigate, handle any corrections or changes we can make, and keep you informed. You don’t need to log in, open a support ticket, or troubleshoot software yourself. If the issue involves an outside data source, we’ll explain what’s affected and follow up.
What exactly will I receive?
A prioritized call sheet of local opportunities relevant to your business, followed by project details in the same order. Each opportunity explains why it fits and includes available project and contact information. Permit applications and issued permits share one ranked list, with each permit’s status clearly labeled.
How is Morningline different from other construction-lead platforms?
Morningline focuses on a simple daily call list delivered to your inbox. We gather current local information, remove irrelevant records and duplicates, research available contacts, and rank opportunities for your business. You get a clear call order without having to search a database or manage a dashboard.
Is Morningline a bidding platform?
No. Morningline helps you identify and contact promising local projects early. It does not manage bids, estimates, plans, or project documents, and a report entry is not a formal invitation to bid.
What does “curated for my business” mean, and can I customize it?
Your reports are filtered and ranked for your service category, territory, and sales priorities. A project that fits a dumpster company may not fit a flooring installer. Tell us which project types, locations, job sizes, or customer categories matter most, and we can refine future reports around those preferences and the information available locally.
What types of businesses can use Morningline?
Morningline can support roll-off dumpster companies, portable sanitation providers, temporary fencing companies, residential flooring businesses, construction cleaners, and other project-related vendors where reliable local opportunity data is available. If your category is not listed, select “Other” in the availability form and tell us what you sell. We’ll assess whether the local data can produce useful, timely opportunities.
The opportunities
Where does the information come from?
We monitor publicly available permit applications, issued permits, and other relevant local sources. Depending on your service category and local availability, reports may also include event, temporary-use, or project-planning information. Event opportunities are included only when they fit the service you provide.
What kinds of construction projects and events are included?
Depending on your category, opportunities may include new builds, renovations, additions, multifamily projects, tenant build-outs, demolition, and site work. For categories that serve events, reports may also include festivals, concerts, road races, street fairs, sporting events, and other upcoming gatherings with available organizer contact information.
Does every opportunity include a phone number and email address?
Not always. Public records vary by jurisdiction. We research the best available applicant, contractor, owner, or organizer contact information, but some opportunities may have limited details. Each report clearly shows what information is available.
What is the difference between an applied and issued permit?
A permit application is a request for approval and can provide an earlier signal while plans are developing. An issued permit means the jurisdiction has granted that permit, though it does not by itself confirm when work will start. We consider both timing and relevance when ranking opportunities.
Why are applications and issued permits combined in the call order?
Permit status is only one part of an opportunity’s value. A highly relevant new application may be a better prospect than a small issued permit. We rank qualified opportunities together by timing, size, and fit, clearly label each permit’s status, and keep the project details in the same call order.
Does Morningline guarantee that I will win work?
No. Morningline identifies relevant opportunities and helps you reach them earlier and more efficiently. A permit or event signal does not guarantee that work is available, that a vendor has not already been selected, that a contact will request a quote, or that you will win the job.
Territories & exclusivity
Is Morningline available in every area?
Service availability depends on the local data. Some jurisdictions do not publish permit records quickly enough for useful next-business-day reporting. Before you subscribe, we check the freshness, reliability, and relevance of the information available in your territory.
If we can’t support our standard daily report, we may suggest a tailored service using other reliable sources or a different reporting schedule. We’ll agree on the scope and timing with you before you commit. If we can’t offer a worthwhile service, we’ll tell you. If local data availability changes later, we’ll reassess the service with you.
What is a territory?
A territory is the defined local area covered by your report. We confirm its exact boundaries before service begins, based on where your company works and where reliable opportunity data is available. A territory may cover a city, county, or agreed portion of a larger market.
Are these exclusive leads? Will my competitors receive the same report?
Morningline serves only one active customer per service category in each defined territory. While your subscription is active, we do not provide that category’s Morningline service to another company in your territory. We may serve other, noncompeting categories with reports tailored to their services. The underlying permit information is generally public and can be found elsewhere; your exclusivity covers Morningline’s category-specific report, prioritization, and service.
Can a company select any vendor category?
No. We verify that each client operates in the category it claims. A company cannot use a neighboring category to bypass another client’s exclusivity. Multi-service businesses may qualify for additional categories when each is an established service line and remains available.
Can I subscribe in more than one territory?
Yes. Businesses serving multiple areas may reserve additional available territories. Each vendor-category and territory combination is a separate subscription with its own category exclusivity and locally tailored report. Billing and delivery can be combined for convenience.
Delivery & pricing
When will my report arrive?
Our standard daily reports arrive every weekday before 6:30 AM local time, subject to source availability. Reports generally cover the most recently completed business day’s activity available from local sources; Monday reports ordinarily cover Friday. If we identify a source issue affecting your report, we’ll email you by your normal morning delivery time. Any tailored service with a different schedule will have its timing agreed with you before it begins.
What happens if a public data source is delayed or unavailable?
Morningline relies on public agencies and other local sources, whose publishing schedules and system availability are outside our control. If we identify a source delay or outage affecting your report, we’ll email you by your normal morning delivery time explaining the issue and any affected coverage.
Where possible, we’ll deliver the available opportunities and clearly identify what’s missing. Your delayed report or update will follow as soon as the affected information becomes available and we’ve completed our review.
How does the $149 offer work, and can I cancel?
The limited-time founding-client rate is $149 per month, per category, per territory—about $7 per weekday report. Join while the offer is available and keep that rate for as long as your subscription remains active. There is no setup fee or long-term commitment. Cancel anytime; reports continue through the end of your paid period.
